Since 2011, SET-BC has been working with teams of educators around the province who are interested in exploring innovative approaches to using technology to support student access to the BC Curriculum.  Projects have focused on district, classroom and student implementations.

District Synergy Projects

Each year SET-BC supports a small number of district-based technology projects.  These are provincially coordinated and supplement our core Tier 2 and Tier 3 services.

Classroom Synergy Projects

Each year, in addition to the classroom-based solutions that SET-BC loans as part of our regular district services, the SET-BC Provincial Centre supports a number of classroom technology projects based on a specific educational focus. The project application process and forms as well as examples of past projects are available in this area.

Student Synergy Projects

SET-BC partners with technology vendors to support a number of small student-based technology projects. These projects are designed to investigate and explore how new technologies can be used to support students’ IEP goals or how to extend the use of existing technologies within students’ educational programs.
