Whales Clicker Sets

About This Resource
This collection of Clicker Sets is related to the book Whales by Lesley A. DuTemple. The Sets were created by Barb Lark as part of a larger group of resources for educators in the Comprehensive Literacy for All Book Collection. This Book Collection includes learning activities for individuals developing early literacy skills, regardless of their age. Activities focus on reading, writing, alphabet knowledge and phonemic awareness to provide meaningful literacy experiences.
Whales Adapted Book – This Talking Book was adapted from DuTemple’s book “Whales”.
Whales Vocabulary Matching – A picture-to-text Matching set of target vocabulary about whales.
Whales Glossary – This Sentence grid set allows students to write simple definitions of target whale vocabulary.
Whale Comparisons – A Connect set that allows students to identify differences between toothed and baleen whales.
Whales Simple Sentences – Students use a series of Sentence grids to write facts about whales.
