Shadow Support
Building capacity by providing support for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments, Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists.
Shadow Support is an opportunity for district specialists to request support for students who are not actively receiving SET-BC support services. A school district specialist will work in partnership with a SET-BC specialist of the same discipline for capacity building.
Shadow support requests can be made for one or more students depending on the needs of the school district specialist. The length of support is dependent on location, need and availability of the SET-BC specialist; typically it ranges from half a day to two days.
Shadow support requests can be combined for two or more specialists in a school district. Each specialist is required to submit their own request at the same time and to include the name of the other school specialist involved.
How it Works
