This resource will demonstrate how to how to configure the Ipad to enable single-switch access in different kinds of apps. Some apps come switch-enabled while others rely on the Switch Control options in the iPad. These tech tutorials will show different ways of using a single switch on an iPad via some example apps.

Module 1: One-switch selection using iOS Switch Control

The following procedure will demonstrate how to configure iOS Switch Control so as to allow the learner to enter a selection using a simple tap of the switch.  In the example given, the Video Touch app does not come switch enabled. We must configure Switch Control to allow the learner to use the app.

Module 2: One-switch selection using switch-enabled apps

The following procedure will demonstrate how to set up the iPad for a switch-accessible app.  In the example given, the Big Bang Patterns app already comes switch-enabled.

Module 3: One-switch selection using a recipe: Turn Page

The following procedure will demonstrate how to launch a Switch Control Recipe that turns the page forward in an e-book. In the example given, a single switch tap will swipe the pages forward in the Epic books app.
