There is a push now for methods and best-practices around self-reflection and self-assessment, particularly as it relates to the Core Competencies in the new curriculum. This resource is intended to provide support for teachers in meeting the requirements of the Student Progress Report Order regarding student self-assessment of the Core Competencies in the new curriculum.

This course is based on a webinar that was conducted at SET-BC, and is separated into three modules: Learn, Plan and Do.

Module One: Learn

In the Learn module we will briefly analyze the importance self-reflection and assessment, and how it shapes learning.

In the Plan module, we will look at the Understanding by Design (UbD) framework, and how we can plan for opportunities for self-reflection and assessment.

Module Three: Do

In the Do module, we will look at the technical aspect of using a tool like Microsoft forms, and how we can create and deliver reflection forms effectively.
