After Share logoAs we roll into the new school year, there are several new SET-BC initiatives that have been designed to improve our Professional Development and training services.  One is the introduction of our SETconcierge who will provide personalized support for BC educators seeking technology learning options.  Another is the start of our “After Share Program”.

The After-Share Program will begin in September and is designed to provide face-to-face or online workshop participants with a way to connect and share resources, experiences, and strategies once the workshop is over.  SET-BC consultants who facilitate workshops will have an online area specific to their participants that will allow them to post workshop and other resources, answer questions, and invite participants to share their own experiences and strategies using the knowledge and skills gained at the workshop event.

With the After-Share Program, we are striving to provide a better overall learning experience for workshop participants – one that will extend and expand what can be explored at a single “one-shot” event.  During a workshop, SET-BC consultants will provide information on how to access their After-Share area and what follow up online sessions may be scheduled.
