SET-BC consultants from all over the province are meeting this week in Richmond to plan and organize our services for the 2014/2015 school year. The three day meeting will feature an update from the Ministry of Education as well as many important topics of discussion including changes to our service delivery for this coming year, supporting districts during our transition to our new service delivery model, provincial training initiatives, and focus/working group activities for the year. Consultants will also be training on new administrative tools and audio technology to support group workshops.
Important decisions regarding cycle timelines and service delivery documentation will be made during the meeting. These decisions will be communicated to districts by the end of the week to assist with district screening and SET-BC service planning.
All our consultants are looking forward to resuming our normal services and connecting with district and school teams after this important meeting.
