Three SET-BC consultants work on Little Bits circuit projectOn September 8th, 9th, and 10th, SET-BC consultants from around the province met in Richmond at the first Provincial Plenary Session of the 2015-2016 school year.  It was a busy three days of discussions, planning, learning, and collaborating.  With the new three-tiered model of services rolling out in September, consultants discussed the services being requested and planned for the delivery of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 services.  On the second day, George Couros led a Professional Development workshop on effective Pro D strategies and tools.  The session was designed to help consultants bring effective practices to their own Pro D and training activities.  On the third day, the consultants worked in small groups exploring current educational strategies within a MakerSpace activity.  The Plenary Session wrapped up with consultants planning their individual and team work moving forward.  A busy, fast-paced three days – a great start to what promises to be a busy, fast-paced year!
