About This Resource
This collection of Clicker sets is related to the book She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World by Chelsea Clinton. The sets were created by Barb Lark as part of a larger group of resources for educators in the Comprehensive Literacy for All Book Collection. This Book Collection includes learning activities for individuals developing early literacy skills, regardless of their age. Activities focus on reading, writing, alphabet knowledge and phonemic awareness to provide meaningful literacy experiences.
She Persisted Sentences – This grid set supports students to write simple sentences about the women in the book.
She Persisted Adapted Book – This adapted talking book allows students to hear a book created from the She Persisted Sentences set.
I Can Change the World – Students can write about their own qualities and what helps them to make a difference in the world.
She Persisted Vocabulary Definitions – Challenging and motivating vocabulary from the book is explained using simple key/core words.
She Persisted Vocabulary Matching – This set allows students to match important vocabulary words (text) from the book.
Women’s Quotes Connect Set – This grid set allows students to match women from the book with their notable quotes.
