About This Resource
This collection of Clicker sets is related to the book The Hat by Jan Brett. The sets were created by Barb Lark as part of a larger group of resources for educators in the Comprehensive Literacy for All Book Collection. This Book Collection includes learning activities for individuals developing early literacy skills, regardless of their age. Activities focus on reading, writing, alphabet knowledge and phonemic awareness to provide meaningful literacy experiences.
The Hat Simple Sentences: Students can write a simple retell of the story using whole words. Teachers can edit the set to allow for different models and different word ordering.
The Hat Choices: Using this Connect Set students can write several sentences to tell what different animals used for hats.
The Hat Animal Match: This matching set allows students to match animal pictures with text.
The Hat Winter Clothes Match: This matching set allows students to match winter clothing pictures with text.
