This collection of Clicker Sets is related to the book The Jacket I Wear in the Snow by Shirley Neitzel. The Sets were created by Barb Lark as part of a larger group of resources for educators in the Comprehensive Literacy for All Book Collection. This Book Collection includes learning activities for individuals developing early literacy skills, regardless of their age. Activities focus on reading, writing, alphabet knowledge and phonemic awareness to provide meaningful literacy experiences.
What I Wear in the Snow Book: Students can read an adapted digital book with simplified text.
Wear in the Snow Sentence Writing: Students write sentences using whole words/phrases. Teachers can vary the levels of scaffolding to support student success.
Clothing Problems: Students choose from clusters of words or phrases to create unique sentences.
What to Wear Plan: Individual students or the entire classroom can use this board to brainstorm and organize ideas for writing and support comprehension.
