The following videos and tutorials illustrate just a small sample of the built-in accessibility features that can be found on the ipad or iphone designed to support inclusivity for all learners in today’s modern classroom.

• Zoom: this feature allows user to zoom on an image or text found within the ipad screen
• Magnifier: this feature allows user to view an image from a distance and enlarge it
• Display & Text Size: this feature allows users to change the size of the text, background colour, opacity in order to accommodate the user’s visual preference
• Spoken Content: this feature allows users to have the screen read back to them
• Define: this feature allows users to look up the meaning of the selected word
• Dictate: this feature allows use of speech-to-text feature
• Predictive text: this feature allows users to select words from a list that will reduce keystrokes
• Pronunciation: this feature allows users to alter the pronunciation of words when using spoken content
• Reader View: this feature allows users to declutter a website allowing them a greater focus and less distraction
• SIRI: this feature allows users to ask SIRI for assistance
• Text replacement: this feature allows users to customize abbreviations that can reduce the amount of keystrokes needed
