This collection of Clicker Sets is related to the book Girls on the Rise by Amanda Gorman. The Sets were created by Barb Lark as part of a larger group of resources for educators in the Comprehensive Literacy for All Book Collection. This Book Collection includes learning activities for individuals developing early literacy skills, regardless of their age. Activities focus on reading, writing, alphabet knowledge and phonemic awareness to provide meaningful literacy experiences.
Girls on the Rise Descriptor Sentences: Students can use phrases to write interesting sentences about the strengths and actions of girls/people.
Girls Rise Rhyming Words: Students can identify words that rhyme, avoiding one foil.
Idiom Meanings Girls on the Rise: Using words common in core vocabulary, students can define the meaning of idioms found in the book.
Girls on the Rise Vocabulary Match: This grid set matches vocabulary words represented in the book.
