Customizing TouchChat HD with WordPower for Students 

TouchChat HD with WordPower HD for iPad is a full featured communication solution for individuals who have difficulty with their natural voice. This communication app is designed for individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, ALS, apraxia, stroke or other conditions that affect their natural speech. This app provides both English and Spanish options. This communication app is capable of generating words, phrases, and messages with a built in voice synthesizer or by playing recorded messages. TouchChat HD with WordPower gives an individual the ability to navigate through page sets and speak messages. Pages have certain amount of buttons with words/phrases so individuals can freely select what they want to say and or use the qwerty keyboard for spontaneous speech. Pages can be customized for the individual.

This module will compare and contrast the 7 different vocabulary page sets included in TouchChat HD with WordPower: VocabPC, MultiChat 15, My QuickChat, MyCore, Spelling, 4 Basic, and Communication Journey: Aphasia.
