Adding Doubles Plus 1: numbers to 10

Grade 2: This project includes a variety of activities to learn about addition of doubles plus 1 to 10. In the Learn Facts Activity, the student is provided with an equation and then the answer. In the Flashcards activity, the student is provided with a fact and can guess then answer, then click to confirm. The Matching Game provides a button to be matched with an equation. This can be played either with cards face up, or down in concentration format. The Match- Draw Lines Activity an equation to be matched with answers. The Questions Activity provides equations with multiple choice answers (4 options). This can be set with or without feedback. This project supports the BC Ministry of Education Prescribed Learning Outcomes for Grade 2 Math: Number: A9 demonstrate an understanding of addition of numbers with answers to 100; A10 describe and use mental mathematics strategies (memorization not intended), such as doubles; one more, one less; building on a known double.
