Every year, SET-BC retires those technologies that have been part of the provincial loan bank which are no longer going to be loaned out for student or classroom use. These older technologies are still valuable and able to support student needs but have likely been replaced by newer versions in the loan bank.
The technologies available through the Retired Inventory Program change throughout the year – the list below is updated frequently so District Partners are encouraged to check this area regularly to identify items they wish to request. Please note: RIP equipment list is ONLY available to SET-BC District Partners. If you are a district specialist wanting to access the list, you must coordinate this request through your District Partner.
The Retired Inventory Program is available throughout the year to District Specialists (Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Teachers of the Visually Impaired) ONLY. Requests from non-specialists cannot be supported. For more information on the Retired Inventory Program, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
