The Outsiders: Picture to Name Matching

Grade 8: This Clicker Set is a variation of "The Outsiders Character Name Matching." In this grid set, the student can practise matching the names and pictures of the characters in the novel The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. First, the student can click on character pictures to hear their names. Then, the student is presented with the character’s picture and is to match it to the name from five alternatives. When the correct answer is selected, the student can hear more about the character. This content supports the BC Ministry of Education’s Prescribed Learning Outcomes for English Language Arts: Grade 8: Reading and Viewing/Purposes (Reading and Viewing) B1 read, both collaboratively and independently, to comprehend a variety of literary texts, including– literature reflecting a variety of times, places,and perspectives.
