About this Resource

Grade 6: In this Boardmaker Studio project, the student can practise sorting organisms by single and multi-celled organisms and by plant and animal kingdoms. There is wordbank attached to each sort so the student can write about what they have learned. This activity was developed to support the BC Ministry of Education’s Grade 6 Science Prescribed Learning Outcomes: Life Science: Diversity of Life: distinguish between life forms as single or multi-celled organisms and belonging to one of live kingdoms: Plantae, Animalia, Monera, Protista, and Fungi.
