About this Resource

Grade 2. In this gridset, students use a pop-up picture bank to sort pictures according to different properties of matter (rough-smooth, hard-soft, light-heavy, shiny-dull). In the "Practice" activity, only a correct selection is accepted. In the "Test" activity, any selection is accepted, giving an opportunity for assessment. The answers to the "Test" activity can be printed by selecting the "Print" button on the Start grid and following the instructions. This gridset supports the grade 2 BC Science curriculum. This gridset template was developed by CENMAC. Adapted by Kathy Ryan.
