About this Resource

In this Boardmaker Studio project, the student can learn about and practise rounding with money to the nearest 0 or 5. The student is presented with a brief description of how to round numbers. The practise activity is an errorless sorting task. When you feel the student is ready for a skills test, in Edit Mode, right click on the page called Sorting in the left pane and select Edit Shared Variables. Change the first item (Quiz Mode) Initial Value from No to Yes. The student can complete the sort and then check on accuracy. This project was developed for a functional math curriculum at the high school level. Created by Kathy Ryan.
