About this Resource
This sample sentence building template, which is customized on the theme of reading comprehension for the picture book "Scaredy Squirrel" by Mélanie Watt, is intended as a starting point for teachers to begin using the Clicker Sentences app in the classroom. Teachers may choose to use it as is or adapt it to suit their individual class and student needs. In Clicker Sentences, students write text with a wealth of supports such as text-to-speech, guided order, and verbal, visual, and illustrated prompts.
