About this Resource

Here are 5 Projects: Project 1 & 2 – Sets 1 & 2 Matching Words to Pictures Game: In these 2 projects, the student can practise matching common symbols with words to build functional reading skills in a game format. Cards turn over when the correct match is made. Auditory feedback is provided when errors are made. The words targeted come from the POPARD Functional Words List 1 and include: stop, wait, danger, walk, women, men, exit, private, keep out and caution. This activity is appropriate for students of all ages who are building their functional reading skills.
