About this Resource

Here you can find 16 Boardmaker Studio projects in which the student can learn to read functional sight words. Activities include: flashcards, a matching word-picture to picture game, and a matching word to picture activity. This project was developed to support students of all ages with significant reading challenges. As a companion to these projects, you will find printable flashcard projects to support each one. Created by Kathy Ryan from a compilation of words from lists found on the internet and some that have been suggested by middle school resource teachers.
