About this Resource

Grade 8, grade 9. This activity gives students practise in recognizing typical recipe abbreviations and their equivalent measures. This project supports the BC Ministry of Education Prescribed Learning Outcomes for Applied Skills/Home Economics Grade 8, and grade 9: demonstrate the ability to follow a recipe, including – selecting appropriate equipment; – using appropriate measuring techniques; – time management; – understanding of terminology.
