About this Resource

Grade 2. In this project, the student can practise identifying signs in the community from 4 pictured alternatives. Feedback is provided on accuracy. This activity supports the BC Ministry of Education PLO for Literacy Foundations, English Language – Grade 2: read or view and demonstrate an understanding of the meaning intended by common symbols and visual texts (e.g., $, @, #, traffic signs, community signs, advertising boards, store marquees).
