About this Resource
Students can read a story on plants and can explore some Moveable Button Activities created in BoardmakerPlus. These include 2 pre-tests and a labelling activity. To read the book in BoardmakerPlus use the SAPI 5 Voices and Choose VW Kate. It supports the BC Ministry of Education Learning Outcome for Grade 1 Science:
-describe the basic needs of local plants and animals.
It provides background knowledge for the Grade 3 Science Learning Outcome:
-compare familiar plants according to similarities and differences in appearance and life cycles.
