About Me

While completing a Bachelor of Education with a minor in learning disabilities, it became clear that special education was an interest and passion of mine. I then went on to complete my Masters of Education in the area of Curriculum and Pedagogy. The knowledge and experiences that I gained during this time, led me to become a resource teacher for a few years before landing in a social emotional program within the Vancouver School Board. These roles allowed me to work with vulnerable and struggling students in order to help them understand their own social emotional and academic strengths and needs. Working at SET-BC now, I am able to work with a number of different schools and students with diverse needs. It is my hope that through the use of technology, we can help provide inclusive education opportunities for all students so that they are able to grow and thrive in their learning.

My Interests

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, baking, and travelling. I am looking forward to exploring the culture, and most importantly, the food of many more countries in the future!
