Kim Heinrichs

Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments

About Me

Before joining the team at SET-BC I worked as a Classroom Teacher in Vancouver for 15 years. I began my career as a Support Worker in Vancouver schools, supporting students to help them access learning and to make connections with others. I enjoy problem-solving, which includes finding just the right technological solutions for students’ individual needs. This support helps to empower students to be fully integrated into the school community. I am happy to be a part of the SET-BC team!

My Interests

When I am not at work I enjoy many creative and active interests including music, art, gardening, learning French, and cycling. I spend a lot of time cooking, and I record my successful recipes on my cooking blog.
