About Me

Before focusing on assistive technology at SET-BC, I worked with people of all ages and in a wide range of settings: private practice, acute and outpatient hospital services, community and home based care, and school and private therapy with children. As an occupational therapist, I especially enjoy task analysis, seeing situations from a trauma informed lens and facilitating the ‘goldilocks’ actions that bring more joy and fulfilment in one’s wellbeing. Harnessing the right technology can powerfully create learning opportunities and it requires me to model being open and willing to learn everyday.
