We had a great start to our Covid school year because we were able to follow the plan for the fall we created in June.
The Primary staff at Signal Hill Elementary has been working to determine how to best serve the needs of our diverse community of early learners who demonstrate their strengths often through a very active lifestyle.
Sometimes we do things in life that in retrospect seem insightful. As we were heading into last summer and the construction on our school was about to begin, one of our teachers suggested that I buy t-shirts for our staff that say, “Embrace the chaos.”

Prior to our Winter Break I was introduced to Forward Together: A School Leader’s Guide to Creating Inclusive Schools and the companion piece Forward Together: Helping Educators Unlock the Power of Students Who Learn Differently by the National Center for Learning Disabilities.
