Calling all blind and low vision campers between the ages of 13 and 18. Develop your skills in cyberspace using assistive technologies. Life skills instruction and recreational events will also be offered in an integrated environment.

This program is designed to meet the technology and recreational needs of blind and low vision campers between the ages of 13 and 18 years old. Through a well-integrated combination of life skills instruction, recreational events and technology activities, participants will have the opportunity to enhance their personal skill levels in each of these areas. Campers will work with assistive technologies like JAWS, Kurzweil 1000, Kurzweil 3000 and Magic as well as productivity software like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Introductory computer skills and some experience with these software packages will be beneficial, but not essential.
