Melissa
My name is Melissa. Although many people think that people with Cerebral Palsy can’t do anything, I have proved people wrong. By being in grade eleven and on the honour roll.
I am a self taught musician. I give speeches on my journey through life. I am an artist of many mediums but my main medium is watercolours.
After we move to Sicamous B.C. I am going to get my paintings known. By having my paintings sold at the local shops. Also I hope to take orders in the future.
When I am twenty I want to get a tattoo that says “Disability or Not, Life is Life”. To make a point life is life and that anyone can get a tattoo.

In the future my cousin Leanna and I hope to open a kennel/shelter for dogs. Also I might open a support group for teenage girls with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. My favorite saying is life is life because some people worry over the littlest things and I have Cerebral Palsy so I just say life is life. Melissa |
