Date I joined SET-BC
September 8, 2015
I have worked as an SLP for the last 19 years, all with a focus in AAC. I started my career in the Anchorage School District in Anchorage Alaska with a full caseload of children who use AAC. Later, I taught the AAC masters level SLP course out of University of Anchorage at Alaska (UAA). Then moved home to Saskatoon Saskatchewan, where I worked in a pediatric hospital coordinating the AAC multidisciplinary team. Then, I worked with adults in the Rehabilitative Day Services and the Adult Speech-Language Center. I was also lucky enough to do AAC consults to the three hospitals and two care facilities. I am happy to be a member of the SET-BC team.
I enjoy traveling, learning about and interacting with new cultures. Cultural specific communication is deeply interesting to me.
