1. Student Success Stories
Jocelyn and Jessica live in a remote region of North Eastern British Columbia. It's wonderful to see how their technological competency has flourished and how technology has enhanced their learning opportunities. (Additional late breaking news item included!)
2. Solutions 2000 Student Design Exposition
Test the skills of post secondary students in rehab. medicine/science, engineering, occupational therapy, physical therapy industrial design, etc. Present them with your unsolved problems related to extending the abilities of students with physical disabilities and see if they can design or adapt a device to solve your problem.

3. @VisionTech 99
In August, young people between the ages of 8 and 18 years came together to explore technology and learn ways to communicate in a digital world. A recreation and life skills program complemented this exciting adventure into cyberspace.
4. TIP
With the start of the 1999/2000 school year, SET-BC introduced a new initiative called the Technology Inclusion Project. The goals of the project are to provide school districts with low cost technologies to students with multiple handicaps and training to school teams who implement these technologies in the classroom. School districts throughout the province have received notification of their allocations for the project. The next step is for districts to determine the students who will participate in the project.
The training sessions have been scheduled for the first 3 weeks of November, with 8 sessions planned for various locations around the province. For more information on the project contact Paul Carson through email at pcarson@setbc.org.
