Technology Access Project

The Technology Access Project (TAP) is an exciting new SET-BC research study funded by the Ministry of Education. In partnership with UBC, we will examine the use of assistive technology with K-12 students who have Down syndrome and are declared in category C in BC public schools. This one-year project begins in September 2006 and completes in June 2007. Technology solutions for students will be provided in three separate bundles, or focus areas: early/emergent literacy, beginning writing, and communication. Approximately 170 students across BC will participate in the project. For more information visit: www.setbc.org/tap
