The Online Learning Centre - SET-BC is pleased to announce the opening of our new Online Learning Centre. This expansion of our website allows us to offer "anytime, anywhere" training options for people who want to learn more about strategies and assistive technologies for students with special learning needs. The SET-BC Learning Centre was developed with the support of IBM Canada’s Pacific Development Centre.

Students Rate & Share Websites - At SET-BC we have recently been looking at web sites of interest to students in BC schools. For this activity we have chosen ten sites related to skill building in literacy, numeracy and art. We are particularly interested in student’s perceptions of the user-friendliness of these sites, and would like to ask interested students to evaluate the websites for accessibility. The students can use a rating scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being the most accessible. Students can rate any number of the sites and send their results with the URL, the rating number and comments to Joe Cash (jcash@setbc.org). We would also be interested in having students pass along their favorite sites with or without the rating information. Please invite your students to participate in this activity.
