Word ProcessingWord processing with large font:
- Word processors have the capability of displaying text in varying print sizes. Preferred print size (font) should be set as a default when possible. This sets the word processor to begin each new file in the preferred font size.
- Text can be highlighted and size can be adjusted using the options relating to Fonts.
Talking Word Processors:
A talking word processor is a software program that uses a speech synthesizer to provide auditory feedback of what has been entered. Seeing and hearing helps users of all ages and abilities. A talking word processor makes reading and writing multisensory processes. Students receive auditory feedback as they write. Speech options range from speak letter, to speak word, to speak sentences, to speak paragraphs, to read all. Words can be highlighted as they are spoken. Talking word processors may also have talking spell checkers.
