Seven young adults, all of whom are blind or visually impaired, were invited by the Provincial Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired, to share their experiences and insights about life before and after grade 12. We are pleased to share with you their personal experiences and the insights gained from overcoming hurdles and facing new challenges. Our appreciation and thanks are extended to each of these fine young people.

The Provincial Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired (PRCVI) is a Ministry of Education Provincial Resource Program, hosted by the Vancouver School Board (VSB). PRCVI houses a collection of alternate format instructional materials and specialized equipment. Loans of materials, consultation and inservice are provided to school districts and independent schools throughout British Columbia which enroll students who are visually impaired.
