Daphne Mercier focuses on the use of social stories and social story language to create pre-activity and curriculum supports at the secondary level for students with autism spectrum disorders.
This module is one section of "Assistive Technology for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders: Ideas That Make It Work", presented at the CEC Conference in November, 2004. SET-BC consultants collaborated with professionals from BC school districts, the University of British Columbia, and the Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders to develop these resources.Webcast
