| Activities & Descriptions | Number Concepts I introduces students to basic numeracy concepts and skills. Facilitated by the engaging Oshi the Otter, students can explore and practice counting, ordering numbers (greater than, less than) as well as addition and subtraction. There is strong visual and auditory support throughout the program’s activities. The program also has teacher options which allow some customization of the environment (e.g. the number range). It is completely accessible and can be used with the Intellikeys alternate keyboard (overlays need to be ordered separately) as well as with other mouse or switch access methods.

| User Profile | This program is an excellent addition to numeracy programs for students who are just beginning to develop number concepts. The user interface and auditory prompting from Oshi make it most appropriate for students in primary grades or those at that cognitive level.
