This Universal Design for Learning website, developed by SET-BC, contains many useful resources for BC educators interested in using UDL strategies in their classrooms. Information, a self-directed course, and many video resources featuring BC teachers and students are available.
SET-BC has several online self-directed courses that provide BC educators with an in-depth exploration of various topics. These courses are self-paced and can be used by individuals, by cohorts, or by district teams interested in staff development activities.
We have many recorded or narrated presentations on a variety of topics. These presentations are self-paced and provide information on broader technology integration issues and considerations when selecting specific technology solutions.
SET-BC has developed many tutorials on communication, learning, and access technologies. These tutorials include downloadable step-by-step instructions as well as viewable screen demonstrations on various software programs, apps and devices.
SET-BC’s video collection contains videos showing students and teachers using technology in the classroom setting. We also have videos capturing BC educators discussing issues relevant to technology integration and presentations by leaders in the field of teaching to diversity.
SET-BC consultants have developed and facilitated a large number of workshops containing valuable training support resources on a wide variety of technologies and topics. These are located in each consultant’s AfterShare blog and can be found by visiting our AfterShare area. Click on each consultant to view their workshop blogs. Visit AfterShare.
SET-BC is now able to offer pre-recorded webinars for educators who need access to more flexible training options. While we will continue to offer live on-line training sessions throughout the year, many of these sessions will also be recorded and uploaded here so that educators can watch or review the materials at any time.
The Webinars available here were created by SET-BC Consultants as part of their regular on-line offerings which occur throughout the school year. The recordings are listed in date order with the most recent recordings at the top. Live 30 minute trainings are also available in real time on a variety of topic as part of our facilitated services under Upcoming Events.
