The Kurzweil Project

SET-BC has launched the Kurzweil 3000 project. During the 1999-2000 school year, six SET-BC secondary students and their teams will participate in on-line lessons, e-mail discussions, and data collection activities as they explore and exploit the feature set found in the Kurzweil 3000 software.

The teams met at SET-BC, Vancouver for a Kurzweil 3000 orientation and training day. Each of the six teams will make use of a scanner, the SET-BC computer, and the Kurzweil 3000 software to access resources in order for the student to meet the diverse demands of the secondary curriculum.
