The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) conference afforded BC educators, therapists, and community the opportunity to attend lectures and information sessions presented by leading international educators, researchers, and vendors.

Exhibit booths provided wonderful networking opportunities for conference attendees. The SET-BC booth, which showcased SET-BC services and SET-BC students work, attracted visitors from around the world. It was a grand opportunity to celebrate special education technology services in British Columbia.

Appreciation and thanks to Mike Bartlett, SET-BC Provincial Coordinator, for his work in supporting the technology strand at the CEC conference. Thanks also to the talented, hard-working SET-BC technicians and staff who set up the technology labs and the many SET-BC staff and District Partners who presented Assistive-Technology sessions during the conference.
