SET-BC will be starting the school year missing some of our long time staff. We wanted to wish the following SET-BC consultants the best of luck in their new personal or professional “adventures”.
Lorraine Kamp – SET-BC Tier 3 Consultant for the Pilot Districts and a member of the Lower Mainland team – Lorraine is setting off to enjoy a happy retirement.
Vicky Midtdal – SET-BC Consultant and a member of the Okanagan team – Vicky is also now experiencing the joy of retirement.
Daphne Mercier – SET-BC Consultant and a member of the SET-BC Provincial Team – Daphne got a head start on her happy retirement at the end of April 2014.
Jane Rondow – SET-BC Consultant and a member of the Vancouver Island team – Jane has accepted a new position with SD#71 (Comox Valley) where she will be working with district and school teams implementing technology in innovative ways.
Maureen LaFleche – SET-BC Consultant and a member of the Vancouver Island team – Maureen has accepted a new position with SD#69 (Parksville-Qualicum) where she will be doing similar work to Jane supporting innovative uses of technology in the classroom.
Sharon O’Dornan – SET-BC Consultant and a member of the Vancouver Island team – Sharon has returned to her specialty as a Speech Language Pathologist with SD#61 (Greater Victoria).
Kendra Anderson – SET-BC Consultant and a member of the Lower Mainland team – Kendra has also returned to her specialty, Teacher of the Visually Impaired, with SD#44 (North Vancouver).
Jeanine Pieper – SET-BC Consultant and member of the Lower Mainland team – Jeanine has accepted a position with SD#36 (Surrey) to provide support for students with visual impairments.
We will certainly miss each and every one of our departing staff, some of whom have been with us for many years. We wish everyone the best for the future. For those continuing on in a new district-based role, we look forward to collaborating with you soon on delivery of SET-BC services in your district!
