This year, as a result of the ongoing and generous support of our partners and vendors, SET-BC is very pleased to be able to support special individual student-based and classroom-based projects for the 2012-2013 school year.
We invite classroom teachers, school based teams and district groups to submit an application for consultation, training, and technology support for projects that explore the use of various technologies to realize students’ learning and curricular goals.
We are interested in supporting individual student-based projects that investigate the use of existing technologies within students’ educational programs or, alternatively, demonstrate how new technologies can be used to support students’ IEP goals. We are also interested in supporting classroom-based projects that utilize personalized learning (21st century) strategies and demonstrate effective inclusion of all students.
Specific project guidelines as well as the actual applications are available on our SET-BC Projects 2012-2013 proposal forms. The deadline for applications for the 2012-2013 school year is October 5, 2012.
- Individual Student-based Projects should explore the innovative use of assistive technologies to help a SET-BC student gain better access to his or her curriculum and to meet his or her individual education goals. Download application for Individual Student-based Project.
- Classroom-Based Projects should be based on classroom curriculum and explore the use of assistive and standard technologies to realize students’ learning goals. Download application for Classroom-Based Project.
