Chris Marshall comes to us from Calgary where he was an Educational Coordinator for the Visually Impaired for the Reach program. He traveled throughout southern Alberta providing services for visually impaired students. Prior to working in Calgary, Chris worked in England where he was born and raised. He started out as a teacher working with students with profound and multiple learning difficulties. After spending some time as part of the senior management team of an elementary school, he decided to specialize in the area of visual impairment and obtained a 2 year post graduate advanced diploma from London University. He worked various position for the Kent County Council where he became a team leader and Inclusion Coordinator for VI.
Chris will be a regional consultant working in the North Vancouver, Sunshine Coast and Howe Sound school districts. He is looking forward to many exciting challenges and experiences in his new province. He’s also looking forward exploring the west coast life style of great hiking in the afternoon and the theatre in the evening.
